General Description

We are looking for an aspiring candidate to be with us on the path of our fast growing business.

We are now making inroads into the mainstream market in the US with a variety of product line-up and dynamic marketing activities.

The efficacy data management and regulation management assistant we want to work with is expected to be capable of thinking strategically and executing proactively. He/She needs to be very hands-on and skillful at communicating. Most importantly, based on biological knowledge, create documents to explain the efficacy of the product. And understanding the FDA regulation related on dietary supplements and food products.

Roles and responsibility

The Efficacy & Regulatory Assistant role is to check and ensure products with regulatory consultant that our company offers meet any governing regulations. In this role, you may advise the development team on regulatory guideline for dietary supplement and provide guidance on how proposed legislation may affect the product. This role requires research skills, familiarity with regulatory processes, the ability to obtaining and maintaining government approval for our nutritional products, and related materials. And also, has responsible for prepare scientific information pertaining to KGC US products with R&D HQ. With scientific integrity, generate documents of designed product efficacy for consumers, and related statements are scientifically substantiated according to applicable local regulatory standards.

Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited, to:

  • Provides scientific support on research projects (basic or clinical).
  • Active response to customer claim with the team, Sales, Brand and Product development
  • R&D center administrative support.
  • Support to organize product efficacy description based on the result of the scientific studies. This work has to be cooperated with Efficacy Research Institute of R&D HQ in Korea.
  • Expanding efficacy research network like medical doctor, professor to perform efficacy research directly in USA.
  • Assists in activities related to engagement with scientific research collaboration opportunities, and the efforts to communicate with professional’s community and attends relevant association activities as dictated by business needs.
  • Providing management with VOC analyses and reports, responding to questions and requests from management
  • Monitoring and responding promptly against the food, dietary supplement related regulatory chages.
  • Expanding and managing regulatory network

Required Skills/Characteristics

• Bachelor Degree or prospective graduate preferred

• Experienced in FDA regulation knowledge(Dietary supplement/Food) is preferred.

• Bilingual skill in Korean & English in written and verbal is required.

• Creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, self-directed, detail-oriented and willingness to grow

• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively

• Experience in Asian (or Asian corporate) culture is preferred

• Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint

• No issue about business trip

• Must possess a legal driver license and be capable of driving

• Must be legally eligible to work in the US
